Final Draft Mobile App Reviews

Getting a screenwriting software of this caliber for such a great price is comparable with getting a Jaguar for the price of a Honda Accord. The computer version is almost 10 times the cost of the iOS version, and theres hardly a noticeable difference that Ive found, after working for hundreds of hours on both versions. True, this program isnt perfect. Sharing files using Dropbox takes some getting used to, and there are a few bugs here and there. But, overall its more than tolerable. That all being said, do not use with iOS 9.3.1, until the next update. Final Draft Writer is unbearably slow on iOS 9.3.1.

I have Final Draft 9 on my MacBook Pro, and I love switching between writing on the Mac and my iPad. With DropBox, its easy to sync between the two, and continue where you left off. There are some things that are a bit easier on the iPad version, but having the two is definitely a plus, if you are a screenwriter. Ive had the iPad version for about two years now, and Im definitely glad I got it!

Minus the loading problems, this app is a killer laptop killer. Hollywood probably gets a lot of value out of mobile software like this.

Well, I love the idea of writing a script on my phone any time any place, but this software could us improvement. It freezes, wont recognize commands, not everything abut it is clear and user friendly... I get stuck pressing the same button again and again. It it wont switch from action to character etc. Very annoying. Hope they fix it cause the idea is great. Just needs better execution. In any case, thank you for working on it. Best of luck. Looking forward to improved resign.

This app needs work. Dropbox syncing does not work for me at all. The thing behaves erratically at times and makes me nervous that I am at some point going to lose my work. Please fix it.
